One of the incredibly powerful features of Apple's iCal is the ability to share calendars that you have created and maintain (of course, this does require a current .Mac account), as well as to subscribe to calendars that others maintain (family, company schedule, etc). Apple has some pretty good calendars available on their iCal web site. One of my favorites is the "Movie Openings" calendar. Not only does it list the movies that are opening on specific days, but it also includes links to the trailer.
