iWeb :: Transferring to Another Mac
Posted: April 05, 2006

When it's time to move in to a new Mac, one thing you want to be sure to move over is your iWeb data. Unfortunately, there really isn't an intuitive way to do this inside iWeb itself. Fortunately, however, everything in iWeb is contained within a single (large) file. Finding this file can be a little tricky.

The first thing you need to do is browse to the following location using Finder:

/username/Library/Application Support/iWeb/

Inside this location, there is a file called "Domain". Simply copy this file, and then paste it in the same location on your new Mac. When you open iWeb on the new Mac, it will look just like it should.
