Keynote :: Personalizing the Presenter Display Of all the really cool features in Apple Keynote (their presentation application), one of the coolest is the ability to view the presentation on one screen, while viewing a special presenter's display on another screen. For example, while giving a presentation to a large group of people, the audience sees the current slide, while you would see all the back-end information (current slide, upcoming slide, timers, etc). If that wasn't nice enough, Apple took it one step further, and allows you the option of easily changing the look of the presenter's display. By default, the presenter's display shows the current slide, upcoming slide, current time, and time on the current slide. To make changes to this screen, go into the Keynote preferences (Command + ,). Once there, you will want to click on the "Presenter Display". The window will look like this:
From here, click on the button at the bottom called "Edit Presenter Layout..." You will then see the default presenter display, as well as a dialog box showing you all the options available. It looks like this:
From here, simply check and uncheck the items you want on and off. Once you have chosen what you want on display, you can then drag the items to the location that makes sense to you. For example, if it makes more sense to have the presenter notes at the top, and the slides at the bottom, simply drag them to the appropriate place. When you are done, hit "Done". |
